How It Works
Individuals or family members who reside or want to stay in the Bay of Banderas contact Bahia Home Care by phone or internet and set up a time to discuss the particulars of a situation based on the medical needs of the individual. Face to face meetings are optimal but are not always possible prior to the need for services.
An initial visit/contact with Lisa Ozzello, RN where she will collect information regarding the health of the client, the home and support systems already available. Together they will agree upon what care is needed or wanted and then a Comprehensive Individualized Care Plan will be developed with the potential costs of these services (see also Costs Involved).
Clients need a medical provider/physician overseeing their health, who is willing to work with the owners of Bahia Home Care, regarding the care of their mutual clients. This medical provider may be in Mexico or their country of origin.
The agreed upon home care plan will be shared with the physician/medical provider. A release will be required by Bahia Home Care to allow them to speak with the client’s physician to assure that they are aware of all impacting medical conditions and there can be communication as needed between Bahia Home Care and the physician.
